Treatments

During our initial consultation – the intake – we'll thoroughly assess the current state of your teeth. We always take a systematic approach, so you'll always know where you stand. During this appointment, we'll explain who we are, how we work, and what you can expect from us.

Switching dentists? Be sure to request your records! The X-rays you've had can be invaluable and sometimes eliminate the need for new ones!

Our findings, advice and treatment options will be discussed with you in detail and the costs will be clearly mapped out.

“Prevention is better than cure!” Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to your teeth.

During biannual checkups, we assess the health, function, and aesthetics of your teeth. Our team is ready to help you remove plaque, tartar, and/or bad breath. Toothbrushes can't reach between or under your gums, so expert dental cleaning is essential!

We also believe it's important that you bring your (young) children to the practice! Did you know that youth care is covered up to the age of 18 without any deductible?

Is it too late for prevention and have dental problems developed? Then it's important not only to treat the symptoms of the problem but also to carefully consider the cause.

Did you know that getting a cavity (caries) is one of the most common diseases in the world?

We'll work with you to stop a developing cavity. As long as the cavity is only in the enamel, it doesn't need to be treated, but can be kept small with the right tips and care. Preventative measures can also be taken with a sealant.

An active, larger cavity needs to be treated. We use a synthetic resin filling material (composite) for this. The longevity of this filling depends heavily on safety and accuracy. Therefore, we use rubber isolating flaps (called rubber dams) that prevent saliva from reaching these filling materials. This isolating flap also prevents water from flowing down your throat!

Tooth wear is becoming increasingly common in our society. Tooth wear occurs when your teeth wear out faster than normal. This wear can be chemical or mechanical, or a combination of the two. Therefore, it's important to first determine the cause and then restore your teeth with a thorough, comprehensive treatment plan discussed in advance.

"Gewoon Gaaf" (Simply Great) is a caries prevention method. This method is designed for children aged 0 to 18 and their parents/guardians. It focuses on the individual's influence on both the development and prevention of cavities. By brushing properly and maintaining a sensible diet, you can keep your teeth healthy! Scientific research in the Netherlands shows that the "Gewoon Gaaf" method can reduce the number of cavities.

Durability is a key factor when restoring damaged teeth. Traditionally, this is always referred to as a crown. Porcelain (ceramic) solutions are custom-made for you by the dental technician. Previously, you would have had to use plaster for this, but thanks to our state-of-the-art oral scanner, that's no longer necessary! Using a digital scan of your teeth, the dental technician creates a porcelain restoration in the dental laboratory, which will permanently and firmly restore your tooth. We stand by our quality, so ask about our warranty terms!

Should an infected or dead tooth unexpectedly become infected, it's important to disinfect it from the inside and restore it. Preserving your teeth is our top priority! Through microscopic examination, severely damaged teeth can be saved where these treatment options were previously limited. Root canal treatment eliminates pain and preserves your natural teeth, thus eliminating the need for tooth replacements.

An implant is a type of artificial root made of titanium that can be used to replace a tooth or molar or as a support for a removable denture to give the denture more support.

An implant feels and functions like your own tooth and is an excellent way to replace one or more molars, allowing you to chew properly again. Implants eliminate the need to grind down healthy teeth, as is the case with a conventional tooth-supported bridge.

Our clinical dental technician is happy to help you find a (new) denture or explore options for improving the function of a loose denture. It's also important to have your dentures checked annually to avoid unnecessary loose or painful dentures.
