"Gewoon Gaaf" (Simply Great) is a preventive oral care program used by dentists and dental hygienists to guide children and their parents toward healthy mouths. The program was developed based on scientific research and emphasizes prevention rather than treatment (filling cavities). It focuses on preventing cavities and other oral problems through good brushing habits, nutritional advice, and regular dental visits. This prevents all sorts of unpleasant dental procedures!

How does Just Cool work?
At Gewoon Gaaf, we use a personalized approach. The program starts at a young age, and we support you and your child until approximately 18 years old. During consultations, we'll assess your child's specific situation and provide practical advice. Did you know that all treatments for your child up to 18 years old are covered without affecting your deductible?

The key elements of Simply Great are:
Risk assessment:
The dentist assesses the risk of cavities and draws up a tailor-made prevention plan.

Parent and child guidance:
Parents play an important role in brushing their children's teeth. Until about age 10, it's recommended that parents help brush their children at least twice a day.

Cleaning training:
Attention is paid to correct brushing technique and the use of fluoride toothpaste.

Nutritional advice:
Limiting sugary foods and promoting healthy eating habits are key to preventing cavities.

Regular checks:
The dentist or dental hygienist assesses progress and adjusts the plan if necessary.
