As a dental assistant, you'll assist the dentist or specialist with all common treatments. We'll also teach you how to independently perform procedures such as administering anesthesia, placing a rubber dam, or digitally designing technical work. You'll join a close-knit, well-coordinated team that motivates each other to achieve their best!

You'll have a full schedule ahead of you, focusing on the patient's periodontal (after)care. For at least two days a week, you'll work with the preventive assistant, the periodontal preventive assistant, and the dentist. You'll regularly discuss cases with this team, and your input is welcome to continuously optimize care and continue to learn from each other!

To strengthen our organization, we are looking for a practice manager who is willing to grow with the practice from the very beginning.

Job description

As a practice manager, you'll be responsible for the daily organization and management of the practice. You'll ensure efficient scheduling, coordinate personnel matters, and monitor the quality of care and processes. You'll work closely with the dentist-owner and serve as the point of contact for the team.

Main tasks

• Management and promoting a good working atmosphere
• Drawing up and managing staff planning and schedules
• Performing HR tasks, including recruitment, development and absenteeism management
• Inventory and facility management
• Ensuring quality standards and guidelines
• Support with administration, such as contract management and declarations

We ask

• HBO work and thinking level
• Experience in a management position, preferably in healthcare
• Professional and communicative attitude
• Independent, proactive and accurate
• Organizational talent with an eye for detail
• Flexible and stress-resistant
• Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written
• Experience with dental software (e.g. Exquise NG) is an advantage
• Available 3-4 days

After treatment, you'll schedule follow-up appointments. You'll also answer patients' phones and help them with their questions. With a dedicated reception team, you'll be the beating heart of the organization, working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly.
